This initiative provides temporary assistance and services to qualifying Native American families with children who are at risk of becoming dependent on welfare. The program emphasizes services that enhance family stability, equip individuals for employment, and foster self-reliance. It includes career development, education, employment, youth programs, and additional support services. These services are accessible in Washoe County, Carson County, Douglas County, and Alpine County in California, and are managed by the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California. Services are offered in English.
