Public health preparedness aims to protect community health and safety by preparing for and responding to public health emergencies. This involves disease surveillance and investigation, coordinating with public health partners throughout each stage of the emergency, and developing essential capabilities in accordance with federal and state standards. Language support is available through translation services, primarily in English.
