This service focuses on assisting clients in locating court cases specifically within the Las Vegas Justice Courts. It provides guidance on how to file motions to quash warrants (not offering legal advice) and how to reschedule cases on the calendar. Additionally, it explains the process for requesting the conversion of fines and fees into community service hours when suitable for individual circumstances. There is also an option to transfer existing low-level misdemeanor cases from the LVJC criminal departments to the Community Court program, which does not impose fines, fees, or jail time but instead provides resources and community service for case dismissal or closure. Services are available in English and Spanish.
