This program delivers support, training, advocacy, and legal aid to foster youth and their families or guardians whose students face educational difficulties stemming from disabilities, including intellectual, developmental, emotional, or behavioral issues. It also provides resources for families, caregivers, and child advocates involved with youth requiring special education services. Additionally, there are volunteer opportunities available for individuals aged 18 and older who are not lawyers to advocate for foster youth with special education needs. Services are offered in both Spanish and English.
