Shining Star Community Services

The program delivers Basic Skills Training (BST) and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) aimed at assisting both children and adults in restoring or enhancing their functional abilities. Trained professionals provide one-on-one support focusing on skills such as social interaction, hygiene, behavior management, case management/mentoring, communication, and transitional skills. Through mentoring, these providers help youth improve emotional regulation, communication effectiveness, impulse control, fulfill probation requirements, and access school-based and vocational services. Services are available in both Spanish and English.
