This initiative provides temporary support and services to qualifying Native American families with children who may be at risk of becoming dependent on welfare. The program aims to enhance family stability, prepare individuals for employment, and promote self-sufficiency through career development, education, job placement, youth services, and additional support. It operates in Washoe County, Carson County, Douglas County, and Alpine County in California and is managed by the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California. Services are offered in English.
