This program covers the costs associated with cremation or burial for individuals who have died indigently. To be eligible for this assistance, applicants must either reside in Washoe County or be non-Nevada residents who became ill and died within the county, and they must fulfill all relevant financial and non-financial criteria based on their household size. Available languages include English and Spanish.
