This service, mandated by the state and available in every county, aims to ensure that vulnerable adults can live safely within the community or in the least restrictive settings. It includes the intake, investigation, and assessment of reports concerning abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation of eligible vulnerable adults. APS workers collaborate with qualified clients to create service plans that address issues such as physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, or unmet essential needs.
Intake Procedure: Concerns or complaints can be reported via phone, fax, or email.
Fees: There are no associated fees.

- Individuals aged 18 and older with a physical or mental impairment who are at risk of harm from themselves or others and lack responsible assistance.
