Developmental Disabilities Regional Offices (DDROs) serve as the initial point for individuals seeking services. The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) has created regions to enhance oversight and quality improvement, facilitating better collaboration with the State Office of Mental Health, State Department of Health, and other partner agencies involved in service provision.
