The TRAID (Technology Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities) Center illustrates how technology, ranging from simple homemade devices to advanced computer systems, can empower individuals to gain more independence. Visitors can explore various items on display, participate in equipment demonstrations, and receive guidance on acquiring necessary tools. Additionally, STIC provides a short-term loan service for assistive technologies and equipment such as wheelchairs, TTYs, walkers, tub seats, commodes, portable ramps, and more. Surplus items may also be available for giveaway.

Fees: Most items are available for loan at no cost, though a refundable deposit may be required for certain items.
