Early Intervention - Child Find - Cattaraugus County Health Department

This initiative provides developmental evaluations for children in Cattaraugus County whose parents are worried about their child's growth milestones. The assessment covers several developmental areas, including cognitive skills, physical abilities (such as vision and hearing), social/emotional development, adaptive skills, and communication. If a child qualifies after the assessment, they will be eligible to receive services through the Early Intervention Program. Additionally, Child Find, which is part of the Early Intervention program, ensures that all children have access to a primary care physician and insurance, while also promoting the importance of developmental screenings and necessary services.

Intake Process: Parents can either contact the office directly or receive a referral from someone with parental consent.

Cost: No fees are charged.
