This initiative delivers rental support via the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program for families that meet income criteria, offers security deposit loans to low-income households in Cayuga County, maintains apartment listings, provides counseling for both owners and renters to avert eviction, partners with landlords to improve rental properties, and includes SRO services for Women.
Intake Process: Referrals are accepted from the Department of Social Services, Rescue Mission, Chapel House, and Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency.
