Safe House Of Chautauqua County - Coi

The program delivers a homeless shelter and transitional housing for runaway youth, allowing those up to 17 years old to utilize Safe House services voluntarily. Participants benefit from case management, which includes crafting a Youth Development Plan, establishing personal objectives, obtaining referrals for additional support, engaging in family meetings and mediation, and formulating a transition plan aimed at family reunification. The staff provides supportive services such as life skills training and family/community activities for both youth in the shelter or transitional housing and their families. While residing at the Safe House, youth can engage in numerous enrichment activities that promote Personal Asset Development, including financial literacy, civic responsibility, healthy living education, and community service initiatives.

Intake Procedure: Youth may contact or visit the Safe House to initiate intake services.
