These funds are directed to the primary heating supplier and can be utilized for various heating fuels such as electricity, propane, natural gas, wood, oil, kerosene, coal, and others. Additionally, emergency HEAP grants may be accessible for households that have received a shut-off notice or are low on fuel, including propane, wood, oil, kerosene, or coal. The program also offers support for the replacement or repair of the primary heating source.
