Clinton County offers assistance via the Child Care Development Block grant for working parents who are receiving financial aid (TANF) or a low-income subsidy, aiming to help them attain greater self-sufficiency. Eligibility for a child daycare subsidy is determined by the family's needs and income level. Childcare services can be provided in both formal and informal settings for children aged 6 to 12 years. In certain cases, care may extend to children up to 18 years old or if mandated by a court order.
