The town offers an extensive array of licensing, records, and informational services to its residents. This includes marriage licenses, hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additional services encompass processing passport applications and managing town records and archives. Property taxes are prepared and collected from residents of the Town of Greenport between January and May 31st, after which all documentation is forwarded to the Columbia County Treasurer's Office.
