The town offers an extensive array of licensing, record-keeping, and informational services for its residents. Available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additional services include the processing of passport applications and the maintenance of town records and archives. Property taxes for the Village of Kinderhook are prepared and collected from June 1st to August 2nd, after which all documentation is forwarded to the Columbia County Treasurer's Office.
