The town offers an extensive array of licensing, records, and informational services for its residents. Available licenses and permits include marriage licenses, hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler and solicitor licenses, as well as racing and wagering licenses. Additionally, the town assists with passport application processing and manages town records and archives. Property taxes are collected from residents of the Town of Kinderhook from January until March 31st; after this date, all related paperwork is forwarded to the Columbia County Treasurer's Office.
