The early intervention program assesses children from birth to three years who have developmental disabilities or delays and suggests suitable services. Child Find offers developmental screenings and observations for children in the same age group who are deemed at risk for delays. Additionally, the program identifies children with special health care needs and refers them to the right agencies and health insurance providers, covering ages from birth to 21 years. For children aged three to five with documented or suspected developmental delays or disabilities, pre-K special education facilitates evaluations and services through the child’s school district.
