People (Projects To Empower And Organize The Psychiatrically Labeled) Rose House - Dutchess County

This initiative serves as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization by offering safe, supportive community houses staffed with trained individuals, delivering person-centered peer support and a retreat for those experiencing emotional or near crisis situations for a duration of up to seven days. Guests are encouraged to self-refer, allowing them to come and go freely, and they have round-the-clock access to peer counseling, support, and educational resources to help navigate difficult times. Additionally, a mobile response team is available for residents of Dutchess County. The Hospital Diversion Houses have successfully assisted numerous individuals in regaining their wellness while preserving their independence within the community.
