Boys & Girls Clubs Of Buffalo - Eggertsville Youth & Community Center

The after-school program caters to boys and girls aged 5 to 18, focusing on five essential areas. Character Leadership Development empowers youth to positively influence their Club and community, build meaningful relationships, foster a healthy self-image, engage in democratic processes, and appreciate cultural identities. Education and Career Development helps youth master fundamental educational skills, apply their knowledge in real-life contexts, and leverage technology for better job prospects. Health and Life Skills aim to instill positive behaviors that enhance well-being, set personal objectives, and equip youth to thrive as independent adults. The Arts encourage creativity and cultural appreciation through various artistic expressions, including visual arts, performing arts, and creative writing. Sports, Fitness, and Recreation promote physical health, effective leisure use, stress management skills, environmental appreciation, and social interaction abilities.

Intake Procedure: Parents need to fill out a membership application for each child and attend a parent orientation.

Fees: The program uses a sliding fee scale based on the household size and income of the family.
