Crisis Services Advocate Program - Rape Crisis Center & Domestic Violence Services

The Rape Crisis Center provides essential services for victims of Domestic Violence, Family Violence, and Elder Abuse. It offers a 24-hour immediate crisis response to all Erie County Hospital Emergency Departments when a victim of rape, domestic/family violence, or elder abuse is identified. Services encompass crisis intervention, advocacy, safety planning, case management, supportive counseling, prevention education, and community referrals. The center also operates a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program throughout Erie County and Niagara County in collaboration with YMCA Niagara. Additional support is available at satellite offices located at the Buffalo Police Sex Offense Section, Town of Tonawanda Police Department, and Erie County Sheriff's Office. Trained speakers and advocates are accessible at various college campuses across Erie County.
