Early Intervention - Ecdoh

This program is a voluntary initiative for developmental evaluations and services, facilitated by New York State and managed by the Erie County Department of Health. It caters to children aged birth to 2 years and their families who are at high risk for delays, have suspected developmental issues, or have a confirmed developmental disability. A range of therapeutic and support services is available for qualifying infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. These services include: regular developmental screenings and monitoring for at-risk children, service coordination for eligible families, Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), provision of early intervention services outlined in the IFSP at no cost to parents, and delivery of services in community settings where children of the same age typically gather, as much as possible. Language Line services are also accessible.
