Offers daily hot meals in a communal setting, with the option to purchase frozen meals for home. An after-school program is available for children during the academic year, along with a six-week summer camp when school is out. Other services include a private book club, bible study, exercise classes, licensed daycare, community resource information, line dancing, and various daily activities tailored for seniors. Seniors are encouraged to contact the center to receive an updated activity schedule by mail or to check the Community Center's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/pg/DJCCCBuffalo/.
Intake Procedure: For meals, registration is required one week in advance at the Center from 10:30 AM to 1 PM; no extra meals will be available on the day unless a pre-registered individual does not attend. For details on other services, please call for more information.
Fees: Costs vary for some services; please call for details. A suggested donation of $3.50 per meal is appreciated, and donations can be made in cash, check, or EBT on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis. Seniors under 60 must pay the standard rate.
