The Peer Transportation Program provides rides to work and related activities for a maximum of three months for individuals diagnosed with a mental health disability residing in Erie County. Additionally, it offers bus passes for eligible individuals who secure employment. Family Support Services cater to those receiving OPWDD services and living with a family member in Erie, Niagara, Genesee, or Orleans County, allowing up to six round trips per month to chosen destinations within Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties. Bus passes may also be available for eligible individuals in Erie or Niagara Counties. Fee For Service Transportation is accessible on a fee basis, with all services provided on a first-come, first-served basis according to program priority. Residents in Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties can utilize these services. Note that individuals who cancel three times without notification will lose their transportation privileges. For intake, call 716-836-0822 ext. 126; requests must be made at least one week in advance. To confirm a pick-up, call ext. 305; for cancellations, call ext. 304. Fees for service are $15.00 each way, plus $0.50 per mile, although some transportation may be free based on eligibility.
