This service offers home-delivered meals along with nutrition counseling, referral information, and daily wellness checks for elderly and disabled clients. Clients can receive up to two meals daily (a hot meal at noon and a cold supper) five days a week. Special dietary needs are accommodated, and frozen meals for the weekend are also provided. A subsidized donation program is available for individuals over 60 with medical conditions, while a fee-for-service option called "Meals Express" caters to homebound individuals aged 18 and above, as well as those requiring short-term or respite care. The Title XX program provides limited funding for those under 60 with medical disabilities. Intake procedures involve Social Workers taking applications over the phone from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM at 716-822-2002, or applications can be initiated online at www.feedmorewny.org and processed by the intake department. Suggested voluntary contributions for two meals a day are $8.00, while the Meals Express service costs $14.00 per day for two meals.
