Mental Health Clinic For Adults & Children - Jfs Of Wny

This program delivers mental health and psychiatric medication management services for children, adolescents, and adults through NYS licensed therapists. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are available for consultations and medication management for those engaged in therapy. The therapists specialize in counseling for various issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, sexual abuse, adjustment challenges, family conflicts, school-related problems, divorce, adoption, grief, LGBTQ+ matters, and other mental health conditions. They utilize evidence-based methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Services are also available for adults and children with a primary mental health disorder and a concurrent substance use disorder that is stable or in early remission. The program collaborates with licensed OASAS treatment providers to ensure that the mental health needs of recovering clients are addressed, supporting their recovery journey and reducing the risk of psychiatric deterioration, hospitalization, or relapse. Both in-office and telehealth appointments are offered when clinically suitable, with initial appointments required to be in person. Intake Procedure: Call to arrange an appointment.
