Neighborhood Health Center - Blasdell

This Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offers a variety of services such as pediatrics, internal and family medicine, OB/GYN, dental care for both children and adults, podiatry, social work, nutritional guidance, opioid use disorder medications, and a pharmacy that includes home delivery. It caters to all demographics, particularly emphasizing support for the medically under-insured, uninsured, and individuals facing homelessness. Additional services include onsite laboratory tests, ultrasounds, STD and COVID-19 testing and vaccinations, health education sessions, blood pressure monitoring, and free walk-in pregnancy tests. The center also provides transportation assistance for clients to attend appointments and helps with referrals. It participates in the 340B drug discount program and has onsite staff to assist with enrollment in the New York State of Health insurance marketplace. Hospital partnerships include Sisters Hospital and the John R. Oishei Children's Hospital. ##REENTRY##

Intake Procedure: Call to set up an appointment. New patients are welcome. Phone lines are open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 6 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:15 pm.

Fees: The center accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and uninsured individuals can apply for sliding scale discounts based on their income and household size. Information and counseling services are provided at no cost.
