The Old First Ward Community Association, Inc. (also known as the Old First Ward Community Center) is situated at 62 Republic St., Buffalo, NY 14204, operating during the summer from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. This organization offers numerous community services, including housing program services and referrals to other agencies, rehabilitation and improvement programs for owner-occupied homes, assistance with down payments and closing costs, a free after-school program for children aged 5-18, a free summer youth program for the same age group, daily community lunches, food pantry support, rental space for events, transportation for seniors, senior field trips, and senior bingo activities.
