This training initiative aims to equip participants with fundamental job readiness skills, starting with a concentration on achieving high school equivalency or a diploma. Following this, it opens up multiple avenues for success, including entry-level job opportunities, continued education, registered apprenticeships, or military enlistment. The program features on-site preparation for high school equivalency exams, various occupational certification trainings, and practical field experiences that include chances for paid work, educational excursions, team-building exercises, stipend earnings, and numerous community-supporting volunteer activities.
Intake Process: Interested individuals should call or visit the office to fill out an application and schedule an interview.
Cost: No fees are involved.

- Eligible participants are youth aged 16-24 who are dedicated to preparing for the high school equivalency exam and meet at least one of the following criteria: they are high school dropouts, homeless, in foster care, pregnant or parenting, have disabilities, or have low income requiring extra assistance for education or employment. A drug test may be required during the program, and the service area is Erie County.
