This initiative offers various vocational rehabilitation services aimed at helping individuals with mental health challenges to choose, secure, and sustain competitive employment within the community. Key programs include: Supported Employment, which provides assistance in job selection, acquisition, and retention with both on-site and off-site support; Rapid Employment/Job Placement, which aids in finding competitive job opportunities; and Ticket to Work (TTW), which offers flexible employment services tailored to individual needs, allowing clients to select from a variety of services. Typically, participants in the Ticket to Work program have prior work experience and aim to work around 25 hours or more per week, with the intention of eventually transitioning off entitlement benefits (SSI/SSDI). The Peer Specialist Program at Leroy Manor focuses on outreach and peer support for those with mental health conditions living in a residential setting. Additional services encompass Job Search, Placement and Support, Resume and Cover Letter Creation, Interview Preparation, Skills Development, Work Readiness Classes, and Benefits Advisement. Peer Bridger support services are also available for individuals transitioning from Rochester Psychiatric Center or other Article 28 hospitals, as well as those with mental health diagnoses living in the community, helping them connect with necessary resources and support. Peer Bridger services are distinctive as they involve one-on-one meetings with a peer support professional to assist with goal setting, budgeting, and accessing community resources. ##REENTRY##
