Liberty Center For Youth

This free, daily after-school program caters to students between the ages of 9 and 16. It includes a computer and tech room equipped with 10 computers and 10 tablets for homework or leisure activities. Participants can enjoy supervised game time in the gym and access a game room that offers air hockey, pool, ping pong, and foosball. A cafeteria/program space is available for daily snacks provided by the Batavia City School District. Activities encompass clubs, open gym sessions, sports, active games, social interaction, homework assistance, mentoring/tutoring, computer and gaming systems, community engagement, and enrichment opportunities. Transportation to the center is arranged by the school, but parents need to coordinate this with the school.

Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can register by contacting the Batavia Youth Bureau at 585-345-6420 or the Genesee County YMCA at 585-344-1664, where a registration form will be supplied.

Fees: No cost.
