This initiative offers extensive youth services to all young individuals in Herkimer County. It features a 7-week summer employment program that allows youth to acquire experience at local schools, non-profits, municipalities (including offices and playgrounds), hospitals, nursing homes, and county government offices. Additionally, free transportation is available during the summer for Herkimer County youth who have jobs in Old Forge and lack transportation to their work sites.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call or visit online for further details; they can also reach out to their county legislator for the Youth Bureau application.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
