The Town of Hounsfield offers a variety of licensing, records, and informational services for its residents. These include marriage licenses, hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, and dog licenses. Additionally, the town is responsible for maintaining records and archives. Property taxes are prepared and collected from residents between January and March 13th, after which all documentation is forwarded to the Jefferson County Treasurer's Office.
