Provides comprehensive vision rehabilitation services tailored for individuals with visual impairments, including Low Vision Evaluations that offer specialized lenses, visual aids, and magnifiers. The InSight Shop serves as a complete non-optical retail space, featuring adaptive devices, visual aids, talking watches and clocks, cooking aids, large print materials, frames, magnifiers, lighting solutions, and adapted toys for purchase. Additional services encompass vision rehabilitation training for daily living skills, orientation and mobility travel training, and social work/case management assistance. Support groups are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with calls encouraged for accessibility inquiries. Vocational and employment services are available, including assessment, job placement, support, training, and follow-up services. Adaptive Technology services are offered to assist with vocational and educational objectives, involving adaptations for computers and specialized software and hardware, accessible through referrals from New York State Commission for the Blind vocational rehabilitation counselors. Children's services include monthly recreational programs for legally blind children and their families, as well as a parent support and education group through the Family Resource Center. Community education and outreach initiatives are also provided.

Fees: Most third-party insurances, including Medicare, are accepted for low vision evaluations, with a reduced fee policy available based on eligibility. Services are contracted through the New York State Commission for the Blind.
