Nysed Adult Career And Continuing Education Services - Vocational Rehabilitation - Rochester District Office

This initiative provides vocational rehabilitation services aimed at helping eligible individuals prepare for employment, which includes support for furthering their education in line with their strengths, abilities, and interests. Employment opportunities can be found in the competitive job market, through self-employment at home, within sheltered workshops, or in supported community employment. Additionally, the program collaborates with students, families, and educational institutions to ensure appropriate services are available for students with disabilities transitioning from secondary education to adult vocational rehabilitation.

Fees: Initial meetings with a counselor, as well as diagnostic and evaluation services, are provided at no cost. Other services may require sponsorship based on income and family resources.
