Rochester General Hospital

The hospital provides an array of services including diagnostic and therapeutic patient care for numerous medical and surgical issues. It features an Area-Wide Trauma Center and Emergency Department, a dental clinic, and emergency medical services, including after-hours dental care through the Emergency Department. Additional offerings include outpatient medical and surgical services, the Lipson Cancer and Blood Center, psychiatric services, both emergency and inpatient psychiatric care, dialysis for chronic end-stage renal failure, and various health screenings such as physical exams, pap smears, birth control, breast exams, and pregnancy testing. The Young Adult Pregnancy Program and pain management services are also available, alongside a Physician Finder referral service, publications, and volunteer opportunities.

Fees: Clinic services operate on a sliding scale based on income, while dental services do not. Medicaid, Medicare, third-party insurance, and private pay options are accepted. Please call for more details.
