This initiative consolidates all available resources to assist those who are hungry and food insecure in Long Island, striving to meet the humanitarian needs of the community. Its objectives include enhancing food security for families, promoting programs that foster self-sufficiency, and raising awareness about the factors and effects of hunger in Long Island. The vision is to achieve 'A Hunger Free Long Island.' Occasionally, dry goods, frozen meat, fresh vegetables, and pet food are available.
Intake Procedure: Two application forms are necessary to determine eligibility.
