The Institute for Family Forensic Psychology's objectives include aiding parents in effectively handling their conflicts, supplying evaluative insights to assess the strengths and needs of both parents and children, and delivering therapeutic programs for families navigating divorce or other family changes. IFFP offers a variety of services such as individual psychotherapy for children and families in transition, family therapy for those involved in high-conflict court cases, psychotherapy for families within the child protective system, support groups for children of divorce, therapeutic visitation, co-parenting counseling, and various evaluations including forensic custody and visitation assessments, court-ordered psychological evaluations, child protection evaluations, and the PEACE (Parent Education and Custody Effectiveness) Program, which educates parents about the divorce and separation process. The primary aim is to enhance parent-child relationships in restructured families and minimize contested custody, visitation, and support disputes in the legal system.
