The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) aids qualifying seniors in Nassau County with their home heating and cooling needs. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can receive one regular HEAP benefit each program year and may also qualify for emergency HEAP benefits if you face the risk of running out of fuel or having your utility services disconnected.
Intake Procedure: The agency encourages clients to call for more information.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
