The initiative provides free hot lunches five times a week to seniors aged 60 and over. Participants can either walk in or make a phone call to access the service. The program specifically targets minority and low-income residents in two subsidized housing complexes and also offers various programs and social services. It receives partial funding from the Nassau County Department of Senior Affairs as part of a Senior Community Service Center.
Intake Procedure: Clients are encouraged to call the agency for more information.
Fees: No charge.
