This initiative delivers career training and experiences that empower adults by helping them acquire essential skills for the modern workforce. Participants benefit from industry connections, hands-on technical training, and job-related certifications to enhance their knowledge and become effective employees. Our English as a Second Language (ESL) courses cater to non-native English speakers aiming to improve their speaking, reading, and writing abilities. Additionally, our High School Equivalency program equips students to obtain a New York State Equivalency Diploma by passing the New York State Testing Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC®) exam, with instruction focused on Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science content. We also offer programs for Adults with Disabilities, providing training for individuals entering the job market for the first time or seeking a career transition.
