The town offers a diverse array of licensing, records, and informational services for its residents. Available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additional services include the processing of passport applications and the maintenance of town records and archives. Property taxes for residents of the Town of Florence are prepared and collected from January until June 30th, after which all related paperwork is forwarded to the Oneida County Treasurer's Office.
