The program provides nutritious meal choices and nutrition education to county residents who are 60 years old or older. Meals are available up to five days a week at Senior Dining locations and through various Home Delivered Meal services. Nutrition counseling is accessible for all eligible participants either at meal sites or in their homes for those receiving home-delivered meals. To ensure adherence to federal, state, and county regulations, registered dietitians and diet technicians oversee the nutrition programs and meal services.
Intake Procedure: To apply, contact PEACE Inc at 315-470-3331 or the Jewish Community Center at 315-445-2360. For the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), vouchers are distributed in July on a first-come, first-served basis; call 315-435-2362 in late June for details on availability and pickup locations.
