Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This initiative provides a confidential and safe environment for victims and their children facing crises, along with advocacy and educational counseling. The services offered include crisis intervention, a thorough needs assessment, and the development of a personalized safety plan. Additional support includes education, information, and referrals, access to safe shelter, crisis and domestic violence educational counseling, both virtual and in-person support groups, and referrals for therapeutic counseling. Clients are informed about their rights and receive help with Family Court petitions, court accompaniment, and legal advocacy. The program also advocates for housing, social services, medical assistance, and other essential needs, along with transportation to necessary services. Community education and outreach are also part of the initiative.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can call or visit in person.

Fees: Services are provided at no cost.
