Finger Lakes Cerebral Palsy Association/ Happiness House

Provides a variety of services that integrate evaluations, preschool education, therapy, and autism support for children aged birth to five. Early Intervention and Preschool Services encompass Universal Pre-Kindergarten, early intervention education, therapy services, and integrated preschool classes, along with daycare and evaluation services. Additionally, school-age services are available to assist children and young adults with developmental disabilities in reaching their goals, which include special education and various therapy services (OT, PT, ST). For adults with disabilities, specialized services aimed at enhancing their quality of life are offered, such as outpatient clinic services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychology counseling, psychiatry, and developmental disabilities services through OPWDD. Other offerings include day/community habilitation, respite, Children's Waiver Health Home Care Management, Article 16 clinical services, and an external diploma program in collaboration with Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES. Housing options include a child/adolescent residential home, pre-vocational services, traumatic brain injury services, and service coordination for individuals with TBI. The program also features a Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Waiver, providing support to individuals at risk of nursing home placement, including structured day programs and independent living skills training. There are 42 income-based apartment units across two complexes, an 8-unit Age In Place apartment building, and an 8-unit transitional housing facility designed to help individuals gain skills for independent living. Autism Services of the Finger Lakes include diagnostic evaluation, early childhood education, community habilitation services for children and adults, clinical therapy, and fiscal intermediary/broker services.
