Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This initiative provides a secure and confidential shelter, along with advocacy and crisis/educational counseling for victims and their children facing crises. The services offered include crisis intervention, needs assessments, personalized safety planning, educational resources, and referrals. Additionally, it provides access to safe housing, crisis and peer counseling, support groups (both virtual and in-person), referrals to therapeutic counseling, and information on victims' rights. The program also assists with Family Court petitions, accompanies clients to court, and offers legal advocacy. Advocacy extends to housing, social services, medical needs, and transportation to essential services, as well as community education and outreach efforts.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can either call or walk in.

Fees: Services are provided free of charge.
