Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This organization creates a welcoming environment for individuals and families, irrespective of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. It provides individual and group support, including counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, help in locating gender-affirming care, support related to DASA (Dignity for All Students Act) and discrimination issues, educational presentations, assistance with name changes, and domestic violence support. They also offer YANA (You Are Not Alone), a peer-led support group for LGBTQ+ youth, and a less formal gathering for LGBTQ+-identifying adults called Haven, focusing on community building. Square One is another initiative they run.
