Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This initiative provides a secure and confidential shelter, along with advocacy and crisis/educational counseling for victims and their children facing emergencies. The services include crisis intervention, assessment of individual needs, creation of personalized safety plans, and access to educational resources and referrals. Additional offerings encompass crisis support, peer and domestic violence counseling, both virtual and in-person support groups, referrals to therapeutic services, and information regarding victims' rights. The program also assists with Family Court petitions, accompanies individuals to court, and provides legal advocacy. Advocacy extends to housing, social services, medical assistance, and transportation to essential services, as well as community education and outreach efforts.

Intake Procedure: Individuals can either call or visit in person.

Fees: All services are provided at no cost.
