It delivers home-cooked meals (Meals on Wheels) to residents of Oswego County who are 60 years or older, as well as their spouses or caregivers, and those they care for. Chilled lunches are provided Monday through Friday, along with sandwich ingredients for dinner. Additionally, there are seven Senior Dining and Activity Centers located throughout Oswego County, which require reservations and offer limited transportation to each center.
Intake Procedure: To participate, registration and reservations are necessary; individuals can call the dining center to book a senior meal or contact the Office for the Aging for an assessment for home-delivered meals.
Fees: A donation is suggested but not mandatory.
